For purposes of this chapter the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARAGE SALE. Any sale open to the public, conducted from or on a residential premises for the purpose of the selling of personal property, including but not limited to, all sales entitled, "garage", "lawn", "attic", "porch," "basement", "room", "backyard", "patio", "rummage", "estate" or any similar sale. This definition shall not apply to an event where five or fewer specifically identified items are held out for sale and all advertisements of the sale specifically names those items to be sold.
