§ 77.01 DETERMINATION OF PARKING RESTRICTIONS; SIGNS POSTED.
   The Board of Trustees and Mayor may, from time to time, designate areas in which parking is prohibited or prohibited during certain hours or limited in time or otherwise regulated or restricted. It shall be the duty of the Superintendent of Streets to erect, install and maintain suitable signs or markings giving notice of the regulations and restrictions, and it shall be unlawful for any person to violate or fail to comply with any sign or marking; provided, however, that, this section shall not apply to the driver of any vehicle which is disabled on the paved, improved or main traveled portion of a highway in a manner and to an extent that it is impossible to avoid stopping and temporarily leaving the disabled vehicle in the position.
