(A) Generally. The driver of any vehicle shall obey the instructions of any official traffic-control device applicable thereto placed in accordance with the provisions of this title, unless otherwise directed by a police officer, subject to the exceptions granted the driver of an authorized emergency vehicle in this title.
(B) Traffic lanes. Where traffic lanes have been marked to preserve a regular alignment of traffic, it shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to fail or refuse to keep his or her vehicle within the designated boundaries of any lane, except when lawfully passing another vehicle.
