§ 70.04 OBEDIENCE TO OFFICIALS AND TRAFFIC LAWS.
   (A)   Obedience to officials.
      (1)   Members of the Police Department are hereby authorized to direct all traffic in accordance with the provisions of this title or in emergencies as public safety or convenience may require, and it shall be unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order, signal or direction of a police officer. Except in case of emergency, it shall be unlawful for any person not authorized by the Chief of Police to direct or attempt to direct traffic.
      (2)   No person shall willfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of a police officer, Fire Department official or any other authorized officer.
   (B)   Obedience to traffic laws. It is unlawful and, unless otherwise declared in this title with respect to particular offenses, for any person to do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required in this title.
