(A) Permit requirements. Application for a permit to connect any service pipe with a water main shall be made to the Village Clerk and shall fix the day on which the applicant wishes the tap inserted in the water main. The applicant for a permit under this section shall give at least 48-hours' notice prior to the time for the insertion of the tap.
(B) Water taps.
(1) The plumber must show evidence of being licensed to the Village Clerk.
(2) All streets shall be properly restored to original condition.
(3) All installation costs shall be paid by the owner.
(4) Taps must not be covered until inspected by the proper village authority.
(5) Corporation cocks, pipes and the like shall be to village specifications.
