Persons appointed to the Volunteer Fire Department shall take, subscribe and file the oath required of appointed officials of the village as prescribed by the State Municipal Code and the village code and shall execute, file and have approved a bond as prescribed by the State Municipal Code in an amount and of a form designated by the Mayor at the time of appointment of a volunteer firefighter.
