§ 34.17 JUVENILE OFFICER.
   (A)   The Mayor is authorized to appoint up to two part-time Juvenile Officers, subject to the advice and approval of the Board of Trustees, to handle all juvenile police matters within the village. There shall be no more than two appointed Juvenile Officers at any one time.
   (B)   Each Juvenile Officer shall be a trained juvenile officer and possess such other qualifications required of other officers of the village, shall be required to give a bond and take oath or affirmation of office as required by law, and shall be subject to removal from office by the Mayor in the same manor as other appointed officers of the village.
   (C)   A Juvenile Officer shall receive compensation at a rate of $200 per month for performing his or her duties as a trained juvenile officer and shall be on call 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
