§ 33.136 APPROPRIATION; LEVY OF TAXES.

The Mayor and Village Board of Trustees may make an appropriation for EMA purposes in the manner provided by law, and may levy in addition for EMA purposes only, a tax not to exceed $.05 per $100 of the assessed value of all taxable property in addition to all other taxes, as provided by “The Illinois EMA Act of 2002”; however, the amount collectible under the levy shall in no event exceed 0.250 per capita.
