The Board of Trustees of the Police Pension Fund shall consist of five members, two appointed by the Village Mayor and two elected by the members of the Police Department and one elected by the beneficiaries of the Pension Fund. Until one member of the Board qualifies by virtue of being a beneficiary of the Fund, the Board shall consist of four members aforesaid. The elections shall be held on the third Monday in April and the term of each member shall be two years.
