(A) A Zoning Board of Appeals is hereby established, and the word BOARD, when used in this subchapter, shall be construed to mean the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Board shall consist of seven members, no less than two of whom shall be members of the Plan Commission, to be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the consent of the Board of Trustees, who shall serve respectively for the following terms: one for one year, one for two years, one for five years, one for six years and one for seven years; the successor to each member so appointed to serve for a term of five years and/or until his or her successor is duly appointed and qualified.
(B) One of the members so appointed shall be named as Chairperson at the time of his or her appointment.
