§ 32.170 APPOINTMENT; DUTIES; QUALIFICATIONS; COMPENSATION; TERM.
   (A)   The Mayor is authorized to appoint a Parks Patrol Officer, subject to the advice and approval of the Board of Trustees.
      (1)   The Parks Patrol Officer shall report to the Village Services Director;
      (2)   The Parks Patrol Officer's duties will include, but not be limited to, frequent inspections of all parks and enforcement of local ordinances;
      (3)   The Parks Patrol Officer shall be a certified police officer and possess such other qualifications required of other officers of the village, shall be required to give a bond, shall take oath or affirmation of office as required by law, shall be subject to removal from office by the Mayor in the same manner as other appointed officers of the village; and
      (4)   The Parks Patrol Officer shall receive the compensation prescribed and approved at the time of appointment or as recited, from time to time, in the appropriate ordinance of the village.
   (B)   The term of the office of Parks Patrol Officer shall be for one year beginning on May 1 of each year and expiring on April 30 of each year or for such partial term as is necessary.
