§ 32.130 APPOINTMENT; COMPENSATION.
   The Mayor is authorized to:
   (A)   Appoint a Code Enforcement Officer, subject to the advice and approval of the Board of Trustees;
   (B)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall report to the Village Services Director and shall be responsible for the enforcement of all codes and regulations for the village;
   (C)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall be a certified police officer and possess other qualifications required of other officers of the village, shall be required to give a bond, shall take oath or affirmation of office as required by law, shall be subject to removal from office by the Mayor in the same manner as other appointed officers of the village; and
   (D)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall receive the compensation prescribed and approved at the time of appointment or as recited, from time to time, in the appropriate ordinance of the village.
