The Village Attorney shall:
(A) Generally. Conduct all the law business of the village and draw ordinances, deeds, leases and other papers as may be required of him or her by the Mayor and Board or any committee thereof, except for those duties required of the Village Prosecutor;
(B) Opinions. Give his or her opinion, in writing, to the Board or any committee thereof or the Mayor, when requested, on legal questions arising under or concerning any ordinance of the village and on questions and subjects in which the village shall be legally interested; and
(C) Property to successor. Upon the expiration of his or her term of office, turn over to his or her successor in office all dockets, deeds, leases or other papers in his or her hands belonging to the village or delivered to him or her by the village or any of its officers and all papers in actions prosecuted or defended by him or her then pending and undetermined.
