§ 32.044 DEPUTY CLERK.
   (A)   Established. The position of the Deputy Clerk is hereby created.
   (B)   Appointment. The Deputy Clerk shall be appointed by the Clerk for an annual term of May 1 to April 30, subject to posting bond and oath.
   (C)   Duties.
      (1)   The Deputy Clerk shall assist the Village Clerk in the Clerk’s day to day operations of the Village Clerk’s office.
      (2)   The Deputy Clerk shall serve as Clerk Pro Tem in the case of the temporary absence, illness, or temporary incapacity of the Clerk.
      (3)   The Deputy Clerk shall take minutes at meetings where minutes are required where the Clerk is absent or unavailable.
