(A) Generally. Each officer, besides the specific duties which may be required by virtue of office, shall also perform other and future duties and be subject to rules and regulations as the Mayor and Board may, from time to time, require or by ordinance provide and establish.
(B) Surrendering property to successor. Any person having been an officer or employee, whose term has expired or who has resigned or been removed from office, shall, within ten days after notification and request, deliver to his or her successor in office all property, books and effects of every description in his or her possession belonging to the village or appertaining to his or her office.
