(A) All officers shall hold their appointive offices until the first Monday of May in each year following their appointments and until their successors shall have been appointed and qualified; however, officers, appointees or employees may be suspended or removed from Office by the Mayor, as provided by law.
(B) All vacancies may be filled in a manner similar to the official appointment.
