(A) Regular meetings of the Village Board for the year 2024 will be held at the Crestwood Civic Center, 13820 S. Cicero Avenue, Crestwood, in the County of Cook, State of Illinois, on the first and third Thursday of every month (except July and August, which will be on the third Thursday only) at the hour of 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise noticed or rescheduled. The dates for regular meetings of the Village Board are as follows, all in the year 2024:
(1) January 4 and 18.
(2) February 1 and 15.
(3) March 7 and 21.
(4) April 4 and 18.
(5) May 2 and 16.
(6) June 6 and 20.
(7) July 18.
(8) August 15.
(9) September 5 and 19.
(10) October 3 and 17.
(11) November 7 and 21.
(12) December 5 and 19.
(B) Special meetings.
(1) Special meetings may be held at any time on call for the same by the Mayor or any three or more Trustees, which call shall be in writing, duly signed and presented to the Clerk, who shall proceed immediately to prepare notices of the same and cause them to be served on the Mayor and members of the Board of Trustees in the usual manner at least 24 hours before the time of the meeting. The notices shall describe, in brief, the nature or objects of the call.
(2) At every special meeting, the call therefor shall be read and then filed by the Clerk. No business other than that proposed by the call shall be in order at the meeting.
