(a) The water rates set forth in subsection (b) hereof are hereby established on a one quarter year basis and will be effective as noted. The water rates established in this section shall be payable for all water service provided as shown by the reading of the water meter on its regular schedule, or upon the request of the customer. All meter readings after December 15 shall be applied to the rate table for the following year as shown in subsection (b) hereof, regardless of the date upon which the water service is actually provided.

(c) The Water Department is hereby authorized and directed to charge accredited public and parochial schools and school facilities a discounted water rate that is seventeen percent (17%) of the “Inside city regular rates” of this section. (Ord. 2939. Passed 12-27-10.)
(d) That effective April 1, 2006, there shall be assessed a surcharge in addition to the rates specified in Section 925.08 on those water customers located outside of the City who are served by a private water line running through a City Master water meter. This surcharge shall be computed as follows:
There shall be subtracted from the total number of cubic feet of water measured by the Master meter the sum of the total cubic feet of water measured by all individual meters served by this line and the result shall then be divided by the number of individual water customers served by this line and added as water consumed by that customer at the rate set forth in the regular rate schedule.
