(A) Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PUBLIC PROPERTY. The streets, alleys, paved parking lots and recreation areas owned or maintained by the borough and the sidewalks used by the public (either owned by the borough or over which the public has an easement).
SKATEBOARDS. An object which consists of a board or rigid material which may be ridden, which contains a pair of small wheels at each end.
(B) Skateboards prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any reason to leave unattended, put into motion or to ride upon skateboards on any public property of the borough.
