(A) Violation by a minor of the provisions of § 131.01 shall constitute a public offense as contemplated in the provisions of KRS 635.010 et seq. and a complaint filed against a minor for such a violation shall be proceeded against in accordance with the provisions of KRS 635.010, 635.020, 635.060, 635.070, 635.080, 635.085, and 635.100.
(B) Any parent or guardian violating § 131.01 shall be subject to a fine of no more than $500, or imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months, or both.
