(A) A Department of Planning and Community Development is hereby created and so named, and this department shall henceforth have responsibility for zoning, planning, economic and community development, and such other functions as may be given to it from time to time by the Mayor of the city.
(B) All references to the Planning Department or variations thereof in the Code of Ordinances shall be amended to substitute the Department of Planning and Community Development, where applicable in each provision.
