The Board of Parks and Recreation is directed to appoint an Advisory Council and Special Committees in compliance with IC 36-10-3-17. Such Advisory Council shall, among other representation, contain representation of the city’s historical and literary interests. There shall also be established a special “Lew Wallace Study” committee which will consist initially of the present membership of the Lew Wallace Study Board. Such special committee shall advise the Board of Parks and Recreation concerning the control and management of the Lew Wallace Study.
