§ 153.003 INTENT AND PURPOSE.

This chapter is based in large part on the adopted the city Comprehensive Plan, as amended from time-to-time, and similar plans guiding the future development the city. This chapter is intended to implement the Comprehensive Plan by regulating the use of land, buildings and structures for the purpose of promoting the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of the city.
