Discretion should be used in planting of trees in or near parkways, alleys or other public rights-of-way. Advice and recommendations as to size and variety of trees may be obtained from the City Engineer’s office to help homeowners eliminate potential overhead interference problems and root problems with sewers and sidewalks.
