§ 98.002 FIRES; DAMAGE TO STREETS.
   (A)   No person shall burn any substance or make any fire upon any street, alley or public place which is paved, surfaced, or coated with asphalt or any paving material composed in whole or in part of asphalt or asphaltic or bituminous surfacing material, nor shall any person owning or occupying any premises adjacent to any such street, alley or public place upon which any fire has been started permit such fire to continue.
   (B)   No person shall pour out upon any street, alley or public place any acid or material injurious to the paving surface.
   (C)   No person shall place or maintain under or upon or near the surface of any street, alley or public place paved with any such asphalt or bituminous surfacing material any structure, appliance or contrivance from which heat, escaping gases, liquids or other material injures the paved surface of such street, alley or public place.
