§ 70.01 DEFINITIONS.
   Terms used in this Traffic Code shall have the meanings prescribed for such terms by the Motor Vehicle Laws of Indiana, unless otherwise specifically defined as a part of this section. For the purpose of this title, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   HANDICAPPED PERSON. Any individual who, by reason of a physical or mental defect or infirmity, whether congenital, or acquired by accident, injury or diseased is totally or partially prevented from achieving the fullest attainable physical, social, economic, mental or vocational participation in the normal process of living.
   ORDINANCES. The ordinances of the City of Crawfordsville and all amendments thereto.
   PERSON. Any natural individual, firm, trust, partnership, association, or corporation. Whenever the word PERSON is used in any section of this traffic code prescribing a penalty or fine as applied to partnerships or associations, the word includes the partners, or members thereof, and as applied to corporations includes officers, agents or employees thereof who are responsible for any violations of the section. The singular includes the plural. The masculine gender includes the feminine and neuter genders.
   POLICE OFFICER. Every officer of the city and any other duly constituted law officer who may be aiding the police force of the city at any time, including state and county officers.
   TRAFFIC CODE. This Title VII of the City Code.
   TRUCK. A vehicle that has more than two rear wheels, or more than one rear axle, or has an empty vehicle weight of more than 5,000 pounds. The word TRUCK is used to include truck, recreational vehicle and house car.
