§ 52.045 DISCHARGE OF STORM WATER AND UNPOLLUTED DRAINAGE.
   (A)   No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any storm water, surface water, ground water, roof runoff, sub-surface drainage, cooling water or unpolluted industrial process water to any sanitary sewer.
   (B)   Storm water and all other unpolluted drainage shall be discharged to such sewers as are specifically designated as combined sewers or storm sewers, or to a natural outlet approved by the City Engineer. Industrial cooling water or unpolluted process waters may be discharged upon approval of the City Engineer to a storm sewer, combined sewer or natural outlet.
   (C)   No new combined sewers shall be constructed outside of the existing combined sewer service area.
   (D)   Any new building inflow/clear water connection to a combined sewer shall be made separate and distinct from sanitary waste connection to facilitate disconnection of the former if a separate storm sewer subsequently becomes available.
