(A) Tap permit required. No unauthorized person shall uncover, make any connection with or opening into, use, alter or disturb any public sewer or appurtenances thereof without first obtaining a written permit from the City Engineer. The City Engineer, if he finds that the proposed tap is in conformance with standards and specifications of the city and the state, may issue a permit to tap.
(B) Metering required. Any person connecting to the sanitary sewer collection system must have metered water service for the purpose of determining monthly waste water contribution. Any persons not connected to a publicly or privately owned water supply system will be required to install a meter on their well system. Specifications for the meter to be installed on a well system may be obtained from the Waste Water Department.
