§ 50.24 INSPECTION.
   No work shall be done before the permit is issued, and upon the completion of the electrical work and before any portion of the work is hidden from view by permanent installations of other material, the person shall submit such work for inspection and approval of the City Electrician. If such electrical work is not approved, it shall be corrected or destroyed within a reasonable time as determined by the City Electrician. If approved by him, the City Electrician shall issue a certificate of satisfactory inspection which shall contain the date of inspection and an outline of the result of such examination. No certificate shall be issued unless all apparatus, wires, etc., connected therewith are set in conformity with the rules and regulations applicable thereto; nor shall any current be turned on until such certificate is issued. The Electrical Contractor or his designated representative, and the Electrical Inspector shall be present at the location of the work for the preliminary and final inspections. The City Electrician shall keep a full and complete daily record of all work done, permits issued, examinations made or other official work performed, as required by this chapter.
