The fee for a Class A license issued under this chapter is $100 for the first year or fractional part thereof, and $50 for renewal for each successive year thereafter. The fee for a Class B license issued under this chapter is $50 for the first year or fractional part thereof, and $25 for renewal for each successive year thereafter. All licenses expire December 31 of each year and such fee shall be paid to the City Clerk-Treasurer in advance before any license shall be issued. A license will be considered to have lapsed if the renewal fee is not received by March 30 of the year succeeding that in which the license expires. All electrical licenses in effect at any time shall continue in effect upon payment of the license fees and re-examination is not required.
