§ 35.32 UNSAFE BUILDING FUND.
   (A)   There is hereby created the Unsafe Building Fund (the “Fund”) within the Department of Planning and Community Development of the city, which shall be funded with:
      (1)   The revenue sources set forth in IC 36-7-9-14(b);
      (2)   Such other monies as the Common Council may appropriate by ordinance from time to time;
      (3)   Such other monies that the Mayor may secure or apply for the purposes of the Fund from time to time, including any designated Urban Development Action Grant (UDAG) monies; and
      (4)   To the extent allowed by law, net revenues of the sale of various parcels of surplus real estate owned by the city.
   (B)   The purposes of the Fund are those set forth by IC 36-7-9-14(c).
   (C)   Any Urban Development Action Grant (UDAG) Fund monies placed in the Unsafe Building Fund and used for purposes set forth in IC 36-7-9-14(c) shall be reimbursed to the UDAG Fund from the Unsafe Building Fund when and if the city receives reimbursement, proceeds of payment with respect to any unsafe property for which UDAG monies were so used.
   (D)   The Director of the Department of Planning and Community Development shall be the official who approves expenses from this Fund, and who signs claims from the Fund to be submitted to the Board of Public Works and Safety for its review, as any other claim from the other funds subject to its jurisdiction.
