§ 52.115 NOTICE OF VIOLATION; HEARING.
   (A)   The Board of Public Works and Safety is hereby empowered to fix and levy the penalties herein provided, and the fixing and levying of such penalties shall take place only after the alleged offender has been given written notice of the alleged offense or offenses, notice of hearing to be held before the Board of Public Works and Safety, which hearing shall be not less than five days after the date of such notice, and notice to the alleged offender of its right to appear and give evidence at such hearing. Such hearing may be conducted in an informal manner and the normal rules of evidence shall not apply to the hearing; however, all parties shall have the right of cross-examination.
   (B)   After the conducting of a hearing as hereinbefore provided, the Board of Public Works and Safety is hereby empowered to levy such penalties as it deems reasonable and appropriate considering all of the evidence of such hearing.
