When an automotive, boat or trailer-type vehicle has been found to be in violation and has been removed by the town under this chapter, then either of the following may occur:
(A) If the vehicle has been removed by a private towing operator acting as agent of the town the vehicle may be disposed of in accordance with the provisions of G.S. Ch. 44A, Art 1.
(B) The town may sell the vehicle as a junked automotive, boat or trailer-type vehicle in accordance with the provisions of § 92.055.
