The following order was adopted by the board of county commissioners of Nez Perce County, Idaho, at their January session of 1908, and can be found on page 332, Volume 1 of commissioner records.
In the matter of the petition of S. Hollenbeck et al., for the incorporation of the village of Vollmer, Nez Perce County, Idaho.
This matter coming on regularly to be heard this 18th day of February 1908, the board being fully advised on the premises, and all and singular the law and the evidence being fully heard and considered, the board finds:
First: That inhabitants to the number of two hundred (200) or more are residents within the territory described in said petition.
Second: That a majority of the taxable inhabitants who are residents within the limits of the said proposed village have signed said petition.
Third: That said petitioners are entitled to have the said village of Vollmer be, and the same is, hereby incorporated under the name and style of the village of Vollmer. That henceforth they are a body politic and corporate with all the powers, rights and privileges of incorporated towns and villages, as is contemplated in such cases, especially provided by the laws of the state of Idaho.
That the boundaries of said village are as follows:
Commencing at a point 150 feet East of the Southwest corner of the SW1/4 of section 33, township 34 North of range 1, West of the Boise Meridian, thence running east 2,490 feet to the Southeast corner of the said section, thence east 9662/3 feet to a point on the south line of the SE1/4 of said section, thence due north 175 feet, thence due west 5762/3 feet, thence due north 2,465 feet to a point 390 feet due east of the northeast corner of the SW1/4 of the above described section, then due north 750 feet, thence due west 390 feet to a point 750 feet north of the Northeast corner of the SW1/4 of said section, thence due west 1,320 feet, thence due south 750 feet to a point 1,320 due west of the northeast corner of the SW1/4 of said section, thence due west 1,170 feet to a point 2,490 feet due west of the northeast corner of the SW1/4 of said section, thence due south 2,640 feet to place of beginning, and being in section 33, township 34 North of range 1, West of the Boise Meridian, comprising 2061/3 acres in Nez Perce County, State of Idaho.
It is further ordered that S. Hollenbeck, L.I. Thomas, J.F. Edwards, J.S. Tyler and F.O. Miller, five (5) persons qualified to act as trustees of the said village be and the same are hereby appointed to act as trustees for the said village of Vollmer, until their successors are elected and qualified as prescribed by law.
