ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 2010-408

   AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CRAIGMONT, IDAHO, ADOPTING THE CRAIGMONT CITY CODE, REPEALING CERTAIN GENERAL ORDINANCES PASSED PRIOR TO THE ADOPTION OF THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR EXCEPTIONS, PROVIDING FOR CIVIL AND CRIMINAL PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES

   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CRAIGMONT, IDAHO AS FOLLOWS.

SECTION 1:

   The Craigmont city code as published by Sterling Codifiers in 2010 is hereby adopted by the city council of the city of Craigmont and is hereby declared to be and shall hereafter constitute the official city code of Craigmont.

   The city code of ordinances shall be known and cited as the Craigmont city code and is hereby published by the authority of the city council.

   All general ordinances of the city of Craigmont, passed prior to the date of August 4, 2009 are repealed, with certain exceptions, as is set forth in detail in the Craigmont city code.

   Ordinances of the city of Craigmont passed since the date of August 4, 2009 are deemed to supplement the Craigmont city code.

SECTION 2:

   This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon the approval and passage by city council of the city of Craigmont and upon the publication of a summary of the same in the official newspaper of the city of Craigmont.

   PASSED UNDER SUSPENSION of all rules and regulations of the city council upon which a proper roll call vote was duly taken and duly enacted as an ordinance of this city at a regular meeting of the mayor and council of the city of Craigmont, Idaho held on the 7th day of September, 2010.
