(A) In any case where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with a provision of any zoning, building, fire, safety or health ordinance or code of the city, existing on the effective date of this chapter, the provision which, as applied to trailers, trailer courts, mobile homes or mobile home courts, establishes the higher standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the public shall prevail.
(B) In any case where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with a provision of any other ordinance or code of the city existing on the effective date of this chapter which established a lower standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the public, the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to prevail, and such other ordinances or codes are hereby declared to be repealed to the extend that they may be found in conflict with this chapter.
