§ 52.14 SIZING AND CONSTRUCTION METHODS OF ADDING NEW SEWER TAPS, AND REPLACING OLD OR DAMAGED EXISTING SEWER TAPS, TO THE TOWN MUNICIPAL SEWER SYSTEM.
   (A)   (1)   No sewerage outfall from a residence or small business shall be larger than four inches except by approval of the town agent and Town Council.
      (2)   All attachments (taps) shall be by approved saddles and cut so as to eliminate damage to the existing sewer mains. Whenever possible, a grade fall of one-fourth inch per foot shall be maintained.
      (3)   In no case shall a grade fall of less than one-eighth inch per foot be allowed in any portion of the outfall. Any sewer taps that are installed allowing less than one-eighth inch shall not be approved unless a properly approved and inspected sewerage lift pump is installed which will provide the necessary and desirable one-fourth inch per foot gradient. Maintenance of said lift pump will be the responsibility of the property owner and in no case will be assumed by the town.
   (B)   All piping will be schedule “40” “BE” P.V.C. or SDR 35 sewer pipe and installed per the “typical” drawing attached and incorporated in § 52.17 (sanitary sewer service line - sewer tap plan drawing - 04-28-97).
