If any person shall, within the limits of this town, make or assist in making any improper noise or disturbance or breach of the peace, or shall use profane, obscene or offensive language toward any person or persons, or shall use language, signs or gestures toward another, calculated to provoke an assault, or breach of the peace, any such person shall, upon conviction of any of the offenses of this section, be fined not less than $5 nor more than $25 for each and every offense.
