For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
EVENT. A special event as defined herein.
EVENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM. The application and sponsorship or partnership process administered by the city and relevant department staff pursuant to this section.
PARTNERSHIP. An event wherein staff of a city department work in collaboration with individuals or agencies to deliver events, programs and/or projects, including, but not limited to, participating in the planning, coordination or evaluation of the event.
SPONSORSHIP. Financial assistance, park access, supplies or other services or goods related to an event and provided by the city to a qualified and approved applicant.
