§ 74.026 PARKING OF TRUCKS PROHIBITED IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any persons to park a truck, a truck-tractor or any vehicle whose manufacturer’s gross weight exceeds 10,000 pounds in any residential section for longer than one hour, except when loading or unloading. City-owned vehicles or vehicles owned by other governmental entities or public utilities, or trucks owned by contractors of said governments or public utilities, are exempted from this provision while they are providing public maintenance in a designated residential zone.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to park a bus or van, including school buses and school vans, that have a seating capacity of more than 12 passengers or that was originally designed for more than 12 passengers, in any residential zone on the public right-of-way for longer than five hours.
