§ 71.60 USE OF ROLLER SKATES, TOY VEHICLES ON STREETS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   (1)   No person upon roller skates, or riding in or by means of any coaster, skateboard, toy vehicle or similar device, shall go upon any roadway, except while crossing a street on a crosswalk and, when so crossing, such person shall be granted all of the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to pedestrians.
      (2)   This section shall not apply upon any street while set aside as a play street as authorized by ordinance of the city.
   (B)   The operator of any coaster or skateboard type vehicle or similar device upon a public sidewalk shall operate the vehicle or device in a careful manner with regard to the safety and convenience of pedestrians upon the sidewalks.
   (C)   No person upon roller skates, or riding in or by means of any coaster, skateboard, toy vehicle or similar device, shall go upon any sidewalk located in any shopping center.
