§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person, firm or corporation who violates any section of this chapter shall be penalized as follows.
      (1)   Whoever violates §§ 70.02, 70.03, 70.15, 70.16, 70.33, 70.34, 70.35, 70.36, 70.37, 70.38, 70.39, 70.40, 70.41, 70.42 or 70.43 of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than $10, nor more than $500, or imprisoned not more than 120 days in the county jail, or both so fined and imprisoned.
      (2)   In the event that any fine, as provided in this section, is not paid, the city shall mail a notice of failure to pay to the record owner of the offending automobile, or other vehicle, and if the fine is not paid within ten days of the date of the notice of failure to pay, then the fine shall double.
   (C)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this traffic code for which no penalty has been provided shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than $15, nor more than $500.
