a. All personnel on duty shall maintain an appearance of neatness, cleanliness and dignity, as may be approved by the Chief of Police. He or she shall be in uniform as his or her duties may dictate.
b. He or she shall keep said uniform clean, pressed and in good repair and his or her equipment clean and in good working order.
