A. Except as stated in subsection B below, the term of the license year begins on January 1 and ends on December 31 or for the period of time for which the applicant applied, whichever is shorter. A license shall not be valid beyond the expiration date therein specified, unless otherwise provided.
B. The term of the license year for rental licenses is stated in Section 3-15-8 of the City Code.
