Industrial plants and business firms in the City which have or which shall secure fire alarm systems that can be connected directly to the City fire alarm system shall be permitted to connect the system with the City fire alarm system upon receiving the approval of the Chief of the Fire Department, if the Chief considers the connection advantageous to the City and the Fire Department. All the expenses of making the connection shall be borne by the industrial plant or business firm making the connection.
