121.02 REGULAR AND SPECIAL MEETINGS.
   (a)   Council shall meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m., official City time, at the Council Chambers at City Hall. However, by a majority vote of the members elected to Council, any meeting may then be recessed to reconvene at some other place as may then be designated and announced by a majority of the Council members. In the event a regular meeting night falls on a legal holiday, the meeting may be held on a date fixed by Council.
   (b)   All meetings of Council shall be open to the public except those meetings defined as executive sessions.
   (c)   All special meetings shall be specifically called and twenty-four hours’ notice shall be given by posting a notice thereof on the entrance door to the Municipal Building. The notice shall contain the date of the meeting, specific subjects of the meeting and the time of the meeting.
   (d)   Any person may receive twenty-four hours’ notice of a particular subject to be discussed by giving notice in writing to the Mayor’s secretary that he wishes to be notified when that subject is to be on the agenda of a meeting. Notice to the City shall be valid for a twelve- month period. Each person will be billed two dollars ($2.00) for each notice mailed and failure to pay the specified sum within thirty days will cancel the individual’s request for notification.
   (e)   Council shall cause an agenda to be posted stating the general topics of all meetings, other than special meetings and planned executive sessions, by 12:00 noon on the day of the regular meeting. (1993 Code 30.06; Ord. 01-10. Passed 1-25-10.)
