975.04 BURIAL PERMIT REQUIRED.
   It shall be the duty of every undertaker or other person before removing any corpse for burial within, to or from the City, to obtain from the Board of Health, a permit to do so. Before obtaining a permit, the person shall deposit with the Board of Health a certificate, setting forth the name of the deceased, his age, sex, nativity, color, occupation, whether married or single, time of residence in the City, place of previous residence, cause and date of death, and the place and date of intended interment. In case a coroner’s inquest is held, the fact shall be stated and the coroner shall be required to certify the fact to the Board of Health. No person shall assist in, assent to, or permit any interment of any body for which such permit has not been given.
