(a) No person shall operate or permit to be operated for hire any ridesharing vehicle including but not limited to self-driving/autonomous vehicles without first having obtained a license to do so from the City.
(b) The license required by subsection (a) hereof shall expire on December 31 of the year for which it is issued.
(c) The annual fee for a ridesharing license shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) for each year or fraction thereof, and shall be in addition to the fee required under the laws of the State of Ohio for all motor vehicles.
(d) A late fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) will be added to each license not obtained on or before January 1 of each year.
