(a) Residential permits, minimum fee: twenty-five dollars ($25.00). This covers all new building and/or alterations up to a cost of five thousand dollars ($5,000). For each additional one thousand dollars ($1,000) over the initial five thousand dollars ($5,000), a one dollar ($1.00) per thousand fees will be added.
(b) Commercial or industrial permit, minimum fee: one hundred dollars ($100.00). This charge is for the first ten thousand dollars ($10,000). For each additional one thousand dollars ($1,000) over the initial ten thousand dollars ($10,000), a two dollar ($2.00) per thousand fees will be added.
(c) No charge for a permit if construction cost two hundred fifty ($250.00) or less.
