If the Human Relations Commission, after conducting such investigations and hearings as provided for by this chapter, finds that a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter does exist, it may recommend that the Law Director, in addition to any other remedies provided by law, be directed to bring equitable proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction, in the name of the City, for the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter and to restrain, abate or correct such violation. If the Commission, after conducting such investigation and hearing, finds that a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter does not exist, it shall so state, publish its findings and issue its order dismissing the complaint.
